Introductory lessons for our younger players. Our focus is to train to adopt a solid foundation in every area. In this phase we use high volume and low intensity. We are developing muscular and cardiovascular endurance. Emphasis is on mechanics in every area. Players will be playing games and learning to compete in a fun atmosphere.
In the 7-10 age group we will continue to develop mechanics in every area. Emphasis will be on maintaining rhythm, depth of shot, height over the net, fluidity and build their confidence. Players will also learn how to maintain rallies to help build their rhythm and tempo to maintain ball control. Intensity will move to high volume with medium intensity. We will be playing points and practice matches using strategy, tactics and patterns of play.
In the 11-16 age group we will continue to develop mechanics in every area. Emphasis will be on maintaining rhythm, depth of shot, height over the net, fluidity and build their confidence. Players will start to do more live ball hitting with emphasis on successful patterns of play. They will learn serve and return patterns as well. Intensity will increase to medium volume to high intensity. Students will be playing point and practice matches increasing the use of strategy, tactics and successful patterns.
We have low key morning women’s clinics which are a lot of fun. No experience necessary..

The A team plays in Sudbury Valley Tennis League, we compete against other clubs in the area. A team is for our oldest players. Practices will be live ball hitting with emphasis on medium volume with high intensity. We will work on strategy, tactics and patterns of play. Practice matches with emphasis on serve and return patterns
The B team is intended for players who want a less competitive environment in which to learn how to play matches. Staff will work with our players on how to keep score, serving and other fine points of the game. Practices will be on Monday and Wednesday. Emphasis will be on training to compete and to adopt a solid foundation in every area of the game. Matches will be against Russell Mill on Fridays.
Sign-Ups for the tournament will begin early this year in order to bring in a large field. There are draws for adult men, 18 and under, 14 and under, 12 and under, 10 and under, and 8 and under. We encourage you to mention the tournament to friends who may be interested in playing. Shirts are given to our all players and prizes to the winners of each draw.
