CS&T has competitive Girls and Boys A teams that participate in the Sudbury Valley Junior Tennis League, playing against clubs including Russell Mill Swim and Tennis, Heritage Swim and Tennis, Nashawtic Country Club, Westford Swim and Tennis, Wedgewood Swim and Tennis, Greenwood Swim and Tennis, Winchester Country Club, and Sudbury Swim and Tennis. In addition, CS&T competes in non-league matches against Russell Mill Swim and Tennis
The A Teams practice Monday through Friday. Girls and boys practices alter weekly between 8am-9am and 9am-10am. The A teams will have home or away matches Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30pm-4pm, where the top seven players on each team will play. During practice these players focus especially on developing the form and technique of their strokes.
Opposed to B team, CS&T offers 8 and under, 10 and under, and 12 and under USTA teams that practice together Mondays and Wednesdays from 2pm-3pm and Fridays from 11:30am-1230pm. We encourage our younger players to participate on these teams to give them match experience as well as another period of time to play and practice.
8 and UnderIn addition to the Friday matches, 8 and Unders will have matches/round robins Mondays from 3pm-5pm. The kids will use a decompressed red ball, which is 75% slower than the traditional yellow ball, and play on a 36 ft. tennis court . During practice coaches will work with these players on developing proper swings where they are turning and rotating their body through the ball.
10 and UnderIn addition to the Friday matches, 10 and Unders will have matches/round robins Tuesdays from 4pm-6pm. These kids will use an orange ball, which is 25% lighter than the traditional yellow ball, and will play on a 60 x 27 ft. tennis court. During practice players will work on developing their form and technique on all strokes as well as improving footwork.
12 and UnderIn addition to the Friday matches, 12 and Unders will have matches/round robins Wednesdays from 3pm-5pm. These kids will use a green ball, which is 25% reduced speed compared to the traditional yellow ball, and will play on a traditional size tennis court. During practice these players will work to improve technique and footwork, and will begin to discuss strategies.
18 and UnderThe 18 and Under team is separate from the younger USTA. This team is for A team players who are looking to get more match experience and play again competitive players in the northern New England Region. These players will practice Monday through Friday with the A team. Matches are held Fridays from 3pm-5pm.
USTA Team Sign up information
1. First go to the USTA’s Junior Team Tennis Tennislink Registration Page and enter your team number XXXXXXX (from the schedule worksheets that were emailed, the last column on the right), then click on ENTER.
2. You will then be directed to a screen where you will be asked to enter either your USTA Member ID or Team Tennis ID: FOR 10U PLAYERS WHO ARE NOT USTA MEMBERS: Click on Sign up as a Non-Member (to the right of this question). Once you have filled out the online form and receive your Non-Member Team tennis ID, be sure to write it down. Otherwise enter your USTA membership number.
3. Now that you have your Team Tennis ID you can now Enter it where it says. Enter either your USTA Member ID or Team Tennis ID. Then Click on Proceed to check out and pay.
Enter $11 registration fee by Credit Card or eCheck, then Click Register Player (at the bottom of the screen).

Chelmsford Clay Court ClassicSign-Ups for the tournament will begin early this year in order to bring in a large field. There are draws for adult men, 18 and under, 14 and under, 12 and under, 10 and under, and 8 and under. We encourage you to mention the tournament to friends who may be interested in playing. Shirts are given to our all players and prizes to the winners of each draw.
Women's ClinicsWe have low key morning women�s clinics which are a lot of fun. No experience necessary.
Men's Night and Women's Nightat Russell Mill and CS&T
We offer lessons from ages 4-16 that focus on developing player’s technique, form, and footwork. Lessons are a good opportunity to get involved and improve your skills to play for one of the teams. Lessons are twice a week with Monday Wednesday groupings and Tuesday Thursday groupings.
We offer low key adult lessons Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6pm-7pm as well as Friday mornings from 10:15am-11:15am. All levels and abilities are encourages to come. Players are separated according to ability levels. These lessons are not as intimidating as some may think and are a lot of fun. $10 per person.
